»» Negative Intense: Yuzuru has been a servant most of his life and has learned to keep a calm and affable front for the sake of the family he's in service to. While he has a very polite exterior, it definitely has cracks that show what one would consider a frightening personality. On top of being a butler and an attendant, he is also a bodyguard. One of his skills is even martial arts, and he's received combat training. He's often rather serious, but it manifests in a wide range of behavior from him that can be quite severe or unsettling. He's dedicated as a servant by having that pleasant seeming front to maintain a proper atmosphere, but in times where he finds it necessary, his dedication develops into him considering, or even taking rather extreme measures. Classmate Arashi Narukami has said he once looked bloodthirsty during a relay race where they competed, sending chills down Arashi's spine. He also tends to say violent things, and casually at that. To a former member of the idol unit, "fine", he isn't afraid to say that he wishes suffering upon their leader, Eichi Tenshouin. He also remarks that to someone that doesn't respect him, it doesn't bother him because "they were going to be dead very soon", implying that would deal with them.

Strict: Yuzuru pretty much manages the life and responsibilities of his master, Tori Himemiya. As Tori can be rather immature and spoiled, Yuzuru in turn has to offset that by being a well prepared and diligent servant. However, he can be smothering in the attention he gives, and others can find him strange. He doesn't give much allowance for silliness despite his age, and speaks to fellow classmates in an overly polite way, using very deferential Japanese befitting a servant talking to his superiors, not so much for his peers. He is also slow to understand more unusual habits or quirks of others, which even can include his unit-mates in fine. Many of his peers find him distant and hard to read, as his polite demeanor can be be honest or belie some hidden intent. He keeps an efficient schedule and agenda for even minute things, thus prefers sticking to it. When he does not have such things to keep him going, he can actually be rather spacey and airheaded. He doesn't even notice that in himself until it called out, like when his fellow archery club members catch him in an off state compared to how they usually see him. It's a flaw that embarrasses him, but because of his conditioning to be a servant, he finds it difficult to enjoy himself, or doesn't realize when he does.

Shrewd: Yuzuru didn't really aspire to be an idol, and he became one more to stay close to Tori's side, who deeply admires idols and aims to be one himself. As he explains, he is Tories tool to succeed as an idol. However, as a servant and bodyguard, Yuzuru has to be more aware of surroundings to protect Tori, both in a physical sense and in the emotional sense because of how sheltered his young master is. He's a more realistic individual and one that accepts the more complicated facets of reality and even embraces them, lacking the sense of personal agency or idealism to change how they are. As a result, he's quick to show a clever and pragmatic side that is downright ruthless. This can be seen when he was in military boot camp for combat training, where has to continuously thwart the ambush attempts of Ibara, another child of the bootcamp who tries to get things past Yuzuru with his own wiles but fails. On top of that, Yuzuru calls him out and punishes him, as he's actually in a higher position at the camp where he can order around Ibara. Needless to say he enjoys getting ahead and having the upper hand. He's not truly greedy or ambitious, but it's more of a tactic for self-preservation. He doesn't get close to others as a person, preferring to research or study them beforehand. What he does is often for personal gain in the long run, and he can get away with being petty in the meantime.

»» Positive Protective: Cruel he may be at points, he does care for the wellbeing of others. Due to his pragmatic personality, he can see the potential benefits and cost of actions easily, which he actually uses to support others. He also has the talent and capabilities to be a supportive and even generous person. If being helpful around others makes good use of him and what he can do, he doesn't really mind. Naturally, with his skills, he is quick to protect others as well. He has to keep Tori safe as that's his job, but he also would protect his classmates without hesitation, like he does when an intruder is in the school at night and he's with his classmate Mika. Quickly, he goes into a state like that of a soldier, ready to attack the intruder or defend himself and Mika. He also defends a fellow transfer student from possibly being manipulated or used by Ibara, who he knows to be sly.

Adaptable: Yuzuru is rather quick to deal with eccentricities of others or situations. When things go awry as can happen for plans or idol shows, he focuses on trying to find a solution or mitigate damage. He has his own personal preferences and a tendency towards being efficient, but as a servant in mindset, he can set them aside or make compromises. This occurs plenty with Tori, as their opinions and wishes can often clash as a master and servant with very different personalities. More than obeying Tori without question (he does not, in fact), he lets things slide or comes to agree with them because they aren't completely bad ideas or decisions from a another perspective. He doesn't value his own opinion as he doesn't really consider himself superior to anyone as servant, but it makes him rather open to other viewpoints.

Sensitive: Yuzuru's emotions can easily run high, even when he tries to hide it in favor of appearing more professional. But, he is easily moved, even to tears. As Tori was a very selfish and spoiled child even to the current day, when he shows signs that he is maturing and becomes a better person, Yuzuru is touched and expresses that openly (sometimes to Tori's embarrassment). He likes seeing the more positive traits of people, as he isn't entirely cynical. While he's used to being exasperated with the antics of others, he seems to be fond of people showing their better and happier sides, as it affects him in a good way. Often he has to observe and study others as an aide to fine and Tori, but through that he can become surprisingly moved and sympathetic. He can also be hurt or feel down when he feels lacking in a purpose, such as when Tori matures and becomes more independent. Conversely, when others pay attention to him or notice when he is troubled, Yuzuru is very touched and appreciative of their kindness. As he doesn't try to consider his feelings for the sake of his position, they end up surprising him.

-Fushimi's family has served the wealthy Himemiya Family for generations, meaning from a young age, it was determined that Yuzuru would become a butler. He's known Tori, the heir of the Himemiya Family, for many years.
-At one point he underwent training at a military camp as a young teenager in order to serve as a bodyguard to better protect Tori.
-Growing up, Yuzuru had a much rougher appearance and personality unlike that of a servant, but he was still faithful to his duties.
-When Tori begins his first year of high school at Yumenosaki, Yuzuru transfers to Yumenosaki as a second-year high school.
-He also changed his image to appear more proper, with the main goal of supporting Tori and his dreams to become an idol. He becomes a member of the most powerful idol unit "fine" with Tori.
